Hoaxes and Scams
Recently, one of my close friends received a fake ‘package delivery’ text saying she had to “update her address.” The link looked real, but it was designed to steal her personal and card information. The purpose of this scam was to steal credit card and identity details. It worked by sending a realistic text with a fake website and urgency (“update now”). We could tell it was fake because the sender was a random number, the URL wasn’t the company’s real site, and legitimate delivery services don’t charge redelivery fees. So, the best way to avoid this is to not click unexpected links and to verify through the official company website or app instead! Stay safe!

Thanksgiving
This Thanksgiving, I’m feeling especially grateful for the people in my life and the opportunities I’ve been given. My family and friends continue to support me through every chapter, and I’m thankful for the chances I’ve had to grow, learn, and move forward.
Here’s to love, gratitude, and everything still ahead.

Life Changes
This year I moved to Reno to start college and begin my journey in business. It’s a big change, but an exciting one. I’m learning more every day, meeting new people, and figuring out what I want my future to look like. Reno already feels like a fresh start, and I’m excited for what’s ahead.

2025 Graduate
Graduating this year felt like a huge milestone. I earned the College & Career Ready (CCR) distinction, completed six AP courses, and had the honor of serving as Color Guard Captain in marching band. Leading a team of 50+ members and winning multiple state competitions was one of my favorite parts of high school.
Proud of everything I accomplished and excited for what comes next.

Girl Scout’s Graduation
Over this past year, I have wrapped up my time in Girl Scouts, and I would like to reflect on my time. I’m proud of the work I put into my community. I earned my Bronze Award by organizing a book donation drive with Costco for foster children, and later earned my Silver Award after volunteering over three years at a bunny shelter, helping with daily care and cleaning. I also sold cookies for several seasons, gaining real experience in sales, money management, and customer service.
Grateful for everything Girl Scouts taught me and excited for what’s next.
